The problem is that there are plenty of free ones. If you charge then you
are instantly closing off the server to all but a select few. Those few may
or may not be the best players. If you are a casual player like me, then
you are going to go to the server that has players on it. As the server is
now locked away from users its highly unlikley to ever have anyone on,
you're never going there as there is no-one to play.
Barriesworld has the only model I can see that would work in its bookable
servers. Solid, fast and configurable servers that can be used by clans etc
to play out games or to pratice, free from interruptions.

Huh?
I use them all the time to play games on, they are the best bar none. I've
never paid or had to register, ever. I don't know how they make money but I
do like the service they provide. Perhaps they have some sort of
retro-partnership with the games distributors based upon the percentage of
players who use their servers, or not.

Btw A. Bw went bust this time last year ...Then Electronique boutique bought
them out and now own BW.
Thought you may be interested to know BT have contacted EB and asked them to
host their games servers...
So basically we will be hosted by...U guessed it Barrysworld

So is BTOW gonna have games servers with BW, me's hope so. just as long as BT get no say in the running of BW or they'll mess it up
