If she had taken blood, she would've stripped away her religious side, which probably makes a big part of who she is. Like it or not, religion makes some people better as humans.

How about...post birth depression would've, in about 80% chance(as it's high enough normally), occur and she might have killed herself? This is so high, because by taking blood, she would've lost most of her identity and her god none the less.

She might not even survive AFTER the blood, and still loose her religion. Now that's a win-win surely?

Yes, har har, let's protect the right to tell other people how to live their life against other arguments by saying "i'm just living my life like i want by telling that other people are wrong". Which, by the way, is completely off the point of the whole off-the-point "let other live as they do". As it includes the "if you don't bother others".

What i meant with it is, it's her choice, it might not have saved her anyway, there was too much to lose for her, as her, and people are bit too fast to judge without thinking it all through just on the basis of religion and "how bull it all is".

It was you who opened your post with that phrase. Saying its her choice is very different from saying 'who has the right'. If that aint what you meant, dont write it.

There was a jehova at my old work and I had to go on a course to london with him. I got him pissed the first night, and took him to some lap dancing club and he wouldnt go to the course the next day out of shame of what he did. I was like, "dont tell anyone then". But his faith wouldnt allow it, he had to go home and do his penance or whatever its called. Then his parents and some bloke from his church came to my work and bollocked me in front of my boss. Was like I was the devil incarnate or something. I was like "ffs, hes a young lad, let him enjoy life a bit"

They are a strange lot.

First, yes, i might have worded it wrong, i missed out the "to her" from the ened. I'm not natively english, i MIGHT write things wrong because of how things are said around here, so i MIGHT need to explain what i meant when someone gets it wrong.

No flippancy at all, i actually use "get it" as a honest and non-flamatory question. As in, "if you know what i mean". Nice that it's clearer and somenoe actually listens to further explanations

About "not disagreeing about her choice", well, that's a bit tricky.

I wouldn't say anyone here is saying that "she shouldn't believe in that", but by saying religions is bollocks(no direct quote) and that "she should've saved herself", isn't it saying that she should've abandoned her faith?

I think that says more about our society's level of acceptance to people's beliefs when they don't have a religion to back it up than anything about religion in this case being bad.

Science still can't tell us what makes us "us". Until they answer that question then they really should be respecting other people's beliefs about what from their body they want replacing or not replacing.
