the SSD is good, and crucial customer service is top notch, but i have to ask as its bugging me, why are buying from a german store, would make more sense buying from a uk seller or from crucial direct. its not h000ge price differance. come to think of it what is it with you and that german etailer not the first time you posted about em

was pondering the same thing myself, alot easier to return goods if you order from the UK as oppose to sending it all the way to germany.

Edit: still tho, must be a right fuck on ordering shit all the way from Germany, if he gets a DOA it'll take weeks to sort out.

I know over a dozen people who have gotten components and built machines from them which have all arrived in perfect condition, reason they all give is that.

1. They are cheaper
2. Products arrive in better condition
3. Aftersale service is great (they handle english and many other languages)

No brainer from what i can see.

Last few years I buy most of my computer parts from Germany (but I live in Belgium so it's not that far )
It's all cheaper and when building a full computer it adds up.
Only had 1 DOA so far (a PSU) and it was replaced within 2 weeks.
German shops are not hard to find. You can find good deals even via amazon.de

Most SSDs aren't serviced in the country of purchase any way, for example my OCZ ones took a trip to Holland.
