Hmm, Was hoping it would run with 512, Ahh well, Its not that much to upgrade.

it would run but i dont think 512 ram would support a 256 Grafics card that well

u can run daoc with 512mb but i would deffo go for 1gb. had only 512mb due to a faulty ram block.... the difference was huge until i got a new 1.

i wouldnt do any upgrading until you can get 100% vista compliant hardware

current hardware misses hdcp support in monitors and graphics cards

but thats just me

why the hell are you getting a 4200+ 2x, its alot worse than the 4400+ and the 3800+ is easily clockable to it... also a 400w psu will struggle on that, the FSP 500w is much more reliable aswell. Also wasting your money on not getting a seagate 7200.10

4400+ has the extra cache, definitely worth it if you're going for better than the 3800 2x

End of July alot of the AMD X2 processors are recieving massive price cuts, the X2 3800 is going to be reduced by upto 50% so it might be an idea to hang on and save yourself over £100.

looks ok but definately get 1gb ram, realistically its the minimum for smooth daoc these days.

overclock the 9800pro, i run mine at 466core/375mem (compared to the standard 378/338). atitool or the omega drivers package is the best way, but do the tests to see how far your card will go and stay stable, might be more or less than mine.
