Is this normal or am I losing it?

For the last year or so my taste in women has totally changed. It all started with the game Vampire the Masquerade and those super hot Vampire chicks. There is just something about pale white women with ruby red lips that I can't seem to resist but to my horror I am also finding the fangs a turn on too!

Earlier in the year I found myself approaching a 'goth' girl if that is the right terminology, now I have always been into what most people would consider 'mainstream' women but this girl just enchanted me. She had jet black hair, pale white skin, ruby red lips and she had such an intense look on her face that I couldn't resist making a pass at her even if I knew I would fall flat on my face. Which I did! I think she was a bit confused to be honest, I am probably not the type of guy who would usually be interested in her and it probably threw her a bit as well but I just couldn't help myself.

Since then I have been watching loads of vampire flicks, Marylin Manson vids (Chyler Leigh in Tainted Love vid just blows my mind!) and generally trawlling for pictures of women who fit the above description.

I didn't feel I was obsessed with it to be honest until a mate kind of pointed it out to me down the pub tonight and then when I was browsing FH tonight I realised that I had made a post in another thread about it as well without even thinking what I was doing. Oh and I have mentioned it a couple of hundred times to Docwolfe on MSN as well So, I thought what the hell, lets see what the OT crew think. I am only 31 so hardly having a midlife crisis and although I am no Brad Pitt I am not exactly sex starved. So it all boils down to this...

Do I have an unhealthy obsession with women who either look like vampires or 'goths'. Am I cracking up or is it a normal and healthy obsession?

Thats the main problem to be honest, I have gone off the women I would usually be interested. All I can think about now is that pale skin, ruby red lips and a pair of fangs!

why do people feel they should be attracted to "the norm" i find blokes who always go for the blonde tanned fake hair/nails/tan brigade to be more worrying, and there was a bloke i used to work with said about his wife how he'd let her get to a size 10 but never above it if she ever did he'd diet her or leave, thats just sick.

your attracted to who your attracted to personally i like many different types basically if someone does it for me i dont care who they are lol and holding a certain "type" as your ideal is a bit unhealthy as you could meet the perfect partner and turn em down cos their face doesnt fit which is tres sad.

I went to a Dimmu Borgir concert in Oslo (Norway) a couple of years ago, and me and my friend encountered two of them.

He (as unafraid as he is) started chatting with them and I just wanted to run as they had piercings here and there in their face, but they did indeed look really good.

There was something about them which made them attractive, they were just good looking.
