Is this an exploit ?

Yesterday evening i went with my supp spiritmaster and my buffbot to the hagbui camp in Vanern.

I go there now and then because the exp is good and the hagbui are weak to the PBae nukes.

A small grp with one sm and some lowbies (greycon to lvl 41 bufbot) arrived just before me and spammed that I should leave. I was a bit pissed because the hagbui spawn so fast it is normally no trouble to feed two grps.

I soon discovered why I was not wanted. The Sm was standing on top of the right hut (I'm with the back to the water) and pulls every mob with his debuf spell into the hut. Then he starts nuking and all mobs die. Even with the fast spawn its possible to kill all hagbui at no time like this.....

My question: is this an exploit or not ? If it is not..I'm sure gonne use it too .

If the mobs were unable to touch him to hurt him then yes it is an expliot and you should report him to rightnow

i've seen this done in malmo in the svartalf village too, SM stands on the big crates, pulls entire village of yellow-red cons, they cant hit him

i regularly farm / PL there, no need to stand on no hut tho, just pet with shammy buffs can pull entier camp and 2, 3 pbae's later... they are dead.

I reported the names with a screenshot To rightnow.

And Boomeruk..i don't know how you can pull the entire camp like you say because one or two resists will kill you, unless of course you have MOC up.

shammy buff pet, warrior with guard / intercept on me.

send pet in to very far left hand coner (of the left hand building), call it the aggro spot.... pulls the entier camp in 1 pull, as soon as pet has slapped that mob, put on passive.

pet gets back, put on "here" pbae twice with capped dex and moa3 shammy dex buffs, pet intercepts a cpl of hits for me, warrior gets anything else, dead in seconds.

shammy heals pet, do it again

no downtime (unless waiting for respawn), no use for moc, pretty easy really

do it with a pac healer and stunn when pet put on "here" and its even easier.

edit: also done it without a warrior and the pet intercepts everything anyway.... in the odd occasion that i take a hit, nothing a qc wont sort out.... hitting yellow / orange con mobs for 1004 +250 per pbae

The hagbuis can both nuke and hit u while u are up on the roof. Is it still an exploit then? Dont start flaming me now, i play in hibbieland

if they can nuke and mellee you then i cant see how it could be an exploit, but that doesnt seem to be what the original poster was suggesting

Boom I assumed you were on your owan with just one buffbot..so leave the warrior home .

And hiban..the hagbui nukes arely scratch you..and if you know whare tostand on the roof they can't hit you.

AAAHAA! an exploiter!

Even if you stand on the exact spot, they will still nuke and hit u from time to time when they are many in the house. I dont personally see it as an exploit, but i doubt mythic would agree with me on that 1. Standing on a roof without ALMOST being hit back from the mobs you nuke, isnt a really fair way of exping. Tho the exp is just wicked

He was suggesting anything? And he did ask if it was an exploit or not. I told him what i thought of it. I think its seen as an exploit. tho ppl have different views of this, just like on everything else.

Why stand on top of the roof at all if it doesn't give you any benefit whatsoever?

Case closed - it's an exploit.

This can also be done at the undead camp in Yggdra. Altho this still is an exploit, I don't really see much harm in it as long as no other players are bothered by it. Which in the original thread isn't the case however...

Used to be the same bug in Lyonesse - Alb, u could stand on roof of pike house and kill em w/o getting hit. Got fixed tho. Report em with screenies fortehwin.

It's simple. If you have to wonder 'is this an exploit', it probably is. Don't do it.

exploit or not, mystics own fault cant blame a person for exping the easy way imo. Just fix the bug and get on with it.

prolly me then i tested it out and in my eyes its not an exploit i even got screenies when i die on the roof =/ or then im just standing wrong place but they can hit u if u stand on roof atleast they kiled me 3-4 times
so im now just happily standing on ground bot gets killed anyways too so long way back to run besides u do it as fast on ground too atleast with my tacticvs but i got a wierd sm spec =/ 44 supp 23 summ 21 darkness
first i pull with focus shield then i mezz em and then i pbaoe i can pull with gl upto 7 at a time but i die from theese pulls too =/
