dressage is boring, running is boring, biking is boring, swimming is boring, floor-gymnastics is boring, tennis should not be included in the olympics as they already had a major tournament not so long ago, same with football. It shouldnt be in there as it already has several international competitions.

Only in some sports are they amateur such as boxing, though I think thats probably because of boxing rules, not Olympic rules.

In fact pretty much everyone else in it are professionals ie, they practise (whichever sport) for a living and earn from either sponsorship or prize money.

aye its a disgrace, olympics used to be canny when amateurs could enter but after eddie the eagle they changed the rules so you couldnt have people just going and trying and enjoying themselves.... wankers

US open for tennis in 2 weeks, hance such a poor turn out. This summed up what should happen with some olympic competitions for me:

Hah, well I'm sure its just to improve movement issues the female competitors have with the more 'substantial' outfits anyway!

I dont get digital in my area (not until 2012 lawl) so I cant watch any of the stuff I want to watch, Table Tennis etc
