Is there a CC class?

As the title says is there a class that would fill the roll of crowd controlling in AoC like in DaoC or does CC not work in this way?

I read that the PoM has some spells which will throw back the enemies on the official forums but I wasn't sure if these were the only CC spells avaliable?

dont think theres an aoe mezz as much, i know rangers get a mezz shot from stealth, and alot of classes have stun and such

dont think so I know some classes can spec so certain styles have snares attached to them but nothing solid like mezz etc... there is fears/snares/stuns/knock downs (just like stun really the player can't move or attack etc)

Guardian shield sweep can be upgraded with feats to have snare attached to it so in that respect u can still hinder other tanks/meleers in pvp abit.

Priest of mitra does some fear and a aoe stun last spell in line of somekind i rolled 1 xD

PoM is a very strong class wouldn't surprise me if they get nerf batted before long

pom and tos both have aoe CC daemon and necro both have roots and many many tank classes have knockbacks, stuns and snares.
There is no pure CC class though like daoc, which is a good thing imo.

The AoE-DD part already has been nerfed according to some players.

I can manage a BIT of CC on my necro.

At 15 that is, might do more at later levels.

Basically the "CC" is getting my goons on a mob, pushing the "pet take aggro" button, and using "sacrifice pet - cast fear" when i run down on health.

Necro is possibly the biggest pain in the arse to learn, but also as such, most fun i've had in ages
