Ba dum psssssh. I don't get the hate, Ipod Touch is a pretty enjoyable piece of kit that I enjoy using. Then again, seems a case of bandwagoning the hate does.

I don't hate, I just don't see the point to it. Why would anyone want to tie themselves down with such locked down software/hardware. Its mind boggling. Use an Ipod fine, bin the shitty I-tunes though.

I dont find it as bad as its being made out. Movies just use an mp4 converter, songs go through a piece of piss. Jailbreaked ipod is ftw however.

Hate is similar to hype, people easily back things up with others and it then becomes a collective truth, most times taken out of proportion; avatar, smoking hate, religion hate, inception is very close to this, etc.

It's not to say all people who critisize something are on a bandwagon, or that all things on a bandwagon are bad, but it is still a viable option
