TBH, someone needs to hang (as it where) over this whole thing, we all know that we launched an illegal war, with no justification, and someone who spoke publicly about the lack of a justifiable cause, ends up dead. And everyone who was responsible for this has got away with it scott free, if another country had done this we would be denouncing it in the UN. And the Hutton report is full of shit, who lead the inquiry? Lord Hutton, and who had given him his peerage? Blair's government, conflict of interest much?

The US (CIA Dossier) was sold to Blair as fact, unfortunately he and his cabinet believed it. It was only after they discovered that much of the CIA's dossier was supplied by people in Iraq with a vested ineterest in seeing an invasion. If anyone were to 'hang' for this it would be the CIA chiefs who sold their intelligence as facts.

Blair was an idiot and as much as I would love to see him behind bars I think Bush/CIA were the real culprits.

Tierk, I do wonder whether this post is diverting attention away from the real news this weekend.

Ali Larijani resigning due to the diffences with the mad President. Was quite alarming to see Larijani come out of meetings with Putin's people stating they were positive and options on a way forward, only to see Ahmadinejad say the reverse a few hours later.

I hate to say this but it is plain as day that it wasnt that Blair was sold a dummy, not by a long shot. If a person with my limited resources (a pc and a inet connection) knew long before the invasion of Iraq that we were being fed horse shit disguised as fact, how could anyone seriously try to suggest that the leader of one of the members of the security council not know it was bullshit? Seeing as they all had information being fed to them daily via the UnScOm whose job it was to find all those so called weapons and labs etc.

I can remember when Blair was in Japan just after Dr. Kellys death and one of the reporters called out something along the lines of "Have you got blood on your hands?" The look on his face was just so "guilty as charged" Not saying that he ordered it directly but he was certainly in the know.

Anyone remember the warning that Diana's personal butler was given by the Queen about "Dark Forces" at work in our country? Wonder if it be the same dark forces???
