Is the alb "Cowardness" really true?

THis morning emain was at it´s best. Only 1fg albs(maybe a bit more around and 5 mids. Again and again when we were killed we went back to emain just in hope that MAYBE just MAYBE we could get em killed...

Of course we didn´t

Then we got a healer, a RM and a another skald into the group, later a BD joined. We killed albs in nice fights, for example some sorc named mezz and 2 exactly same looking pala´s (gweric was the others name) and some merc with name like rucksack or something were nice opponets.

Then... when we were the FG and and looked more to kill we didn´t find anything... when we scouted atk we found out that more than a fg albs was there. But no they didn´t charge us that would be at least "honorable" If it really means anything anymore

Well... We started to camp atk, and in a very clever way albs came behind us(actually only pala and Mezz) and AE mezzed our whole group, then 2fg albs charged us. Ok, we died.

The mentioned sorc came to give me a /bow after I died so basically we had nice time and no hard feelings.

I just can´t understand why 1fg+ albs doesn´t have the courage to challenge a fg mids?

anyways, in a way the albs have become braver. (safety in numbers, who knows )

I remember a time of mg-fights where one or a couple of charging trolls(me more often than not) was enough to make 1-2fgs albs run and ofc die tired when finally the mids caught up.

Then, after about a month or so of that happening, albs started killing me, then running. Which resulted in them dying tired, but atleast with some gain.
Then, after me being tired of being the only one to charge (more or less) I jumped off the emain-train and lvled my alt.


I come back, and what do I find? either mids&albs are zerging in equal numbers, or (what happens the most) is that albs build up a zerg(either because dumb mids/hibs are camping amg or because they can) run to amg, camp amg while they wait for the last fgs, then run to mmg and sit on their ass 5-6fgs while killing mids in 1-3fg's at a time. This starts when the alb kids come home from school, and till they go to bed.
Therefore, im inly in emain before the lame-hours, when you can have some nice fg vs fg action.

I have INSANELY rarely EVER seen albs ANYWHERE else but amg-mmg route, which is fucking sad, and I hope everyone that zerg-camps a mg all die IRL.

sucks that the albs decided to zerg, but it might have been that there were more albs waiting when the other group returend. was a good move to have the sorc move around behind you though credit where credit's due

Started a group like 2 hours ago and just logged. We didnt have a single group wipeout in like 2 hours and ganked every alb group we saw. Every time we saw them they ran from us and we were only a fg. They got more people and attacked us whilst we were fighting hibs and we still killed em. Albs cowards? yes.

Camping apk is done often now by Mids, mind if we just buff up before we get ourselves killed?

Just cause we do not storm out of the apk, we have no courage? We let ourselves be slaughtered night after night by overpowered Mids and Hibs, and you claim we are cowards? Mid and Alb populations (lvl 50) are the same, and Mids have the better classes...

Is it really true that albs can´t go rvr without a "Zerg"?

Umm, not sure what you are smoking mate, but the largest zergs seen in Emain the last few days have been elite skilled, tactically operating Mids...

Yeah, since the day we took the relics RvR have been dead. Not much hibs either. Just fgs of mids running between amg/atk and 6000 sbs standing below atk, so hungry they even risk TS.

Got to say well if not running into numerous forms of insta cc is cowardly well yeah then.

Just think what could of happend

sorc runs down and trys to aoe mezz but no healer casts insta mezz ah bugger sorc stuck friends come to help and healer casts aoe insta mezz/stun people use purge and oh damn the healer uses the other insta mezz/stun that he still has 1fg midds clear up the 2fg albs hmmmm not my idea of fun that.

like the fact that they snuck up behind you though good taticts in letting them get the mezz off.

Most albs don´t care about their own frontier (obviosuly), Mids do.
When was the last time You ran by amg solo in odin´s and lived longer then a few mins!?

I often run all the way to for. sauvage without seeing one single alb, suiciding at castle sauvage from boredom.

Mid has noway near the same numbers in emain as albs. Nor do we run out in such big clusters. The usual mid experience in emain is killing off some strugglers that got away from the cluster, battle a FG or two Hibs and then being caught by the 5-10 fg alb Borg. This isnt meant as a rant, meerly an observation of the daily actions there.

I don´t mind since its about the same rps for boths sides, you getting some 50 rp *16 mids and we get 250 ish per alb we catch.

The question tho is when did You feel you made a difference in a fight ( oh wait I´m a skald, well i did kill an afk blue con solo the other day and made a differnce there )

Ye mids own emain in the morning because we are faced with equal number of enemies. Alb owns emain in primetime because they get most people into emain and that dont exactly take skill.

Got to agree with stunned there us albs aint got as much intrest in our own frontier as the hibbs and midds have in theirs which is a shame as its rather senic up in hadrians as well,

about the whole zerg issue i do think albs go about in large numbers (myself i do prefer single group encounters though gives you a sense of achiement when you win) but i also think that so do the other two realms as well and at the mo both of them seem a lot more efficient in killing than the albs (will be our day again sometime).

Someone got me wrong here...

Circling to our back was absolutely brillant! That was some nice tactics to see!

But just that we didn´t "camp atk" like it´s understood, we had much more distance. We roamed around emain about 20minutes without seeeing a single alb, I guess I didn´t make it too clear.
We got bored to the running and just started a camp a grilled some sauvages while watching the alb group stay just in sight.

No i´m not pissed but I was rather surprised of the fact that we were finally attacked by 2fg.

a few times every single night, 50/50 chance of it being camped usually but once past AMG your home free if you know where to go.

Odins and sometimes excalibur road are the only places you can find good solo duelers for even fights.

After all this time you all know exactly what the fights will be like in emain, its always been the same and it always will be, if you don't like it change your play style and rvr elsewhere.

Didn`t read all post. All I know is, when I quit, albs was superior in numbers in emain. To my knowledge they aren`t superior in numbers anymore. But, mids tend to go to Odins more now than they used to before I quit. On the other hand, not uncommon to see more mids than albs in emain at occasions too.

BUT, as I try to learn how to play SB (it`s MUCH harder than playing a n00b RM ), I tend to see albs not leaving atk even when they are 2fgs, and that is just sad imo. I`m sure they have their reasons though. =)
