Pierce is 50/50 str/dex, you can work your effective thrust dmg stat out by this example:

330 Str
400 Dex

330 + 400 / 2 = 365.

So the effective stat for dealing thrust dmg is 365, compared to if you were lets say slash spec using 330str only, depending on your str and dex levels you can gain a nice amount of weapon skill from thrust, more commonly rogues.


For the other weapons if your not sure

Slash = 100% Str
Crush = 100% Str
Bow = 100% Dex
Staff = 100% Dex
