It is possible to replace graphics cards on laptops. I had mine upgraded by a computer techy friend. Works fine. Watched him as he did it. No way I could have done it myself. Take it to an expert imo

Sell your laptop, add a few hundred quid and buy a better one. Oddly enough it generally works out about the same in cost :(

Theres nothing wrong with it, it runs most games ok. I just want a better graphics card in it.

Would the warranty cover upgrades?

Yeah but not fit for use, is a acceptable reason for return. It doesn't do what you want it to do, so you can return it.

No on the warranty, upon first skimmage I thought the problem was the graphics card wasn't working.

I dont think you can upgrade it if it has a built in graphics card on the mobo, which I think the 200M is. Can always try though.

If your lucky it will have a slot for a gfx card, but a 200M is indeed an onboard one

Just sell it, read up on the specs, put in your local ad-mag at a jacked up price and blag their head.

Works for me.

Sold quite a few components used at higher than retail price, im a git but it got me a better PC at the expense of some idiots.

I brought a laptop once for £1300 pound regretted it and vowed never to buy another one and stick with desktops in future.

Anyway had this new laptop 6 months now and kick myself everyday.
