I do it to see where I've been. I'll freely admit I have the worst memory in the world, and it saves time, and it's also a left over remnant from modding where people would say "Don't let DAMINI see you burning down churches and slapping orphans" and yet wouldn't report the thread.

However, I saw this because of looking in new posts, so hah.
