ehm just asking how much does the AE DoT hit for? around 100ish on a blue con with no resists no? 6 ticks=1 DoT can prolly wipe a camp

Dunno about the other realms, but my menta's AE dot (this is pre-toa) was about 150/tick on a zero-resist target without a crit, crit dots could be over 300. I'd assume a cabalist could achieve at least this much damage, shaman maybe a bit lower (especially as a lot don't spec for the top ae dot).

u would have to un-nerf sorcerers first
put a proper AOE line in Body, not some we messed up so lets say working as intended for the Spec single target Root that has 1 spell in its Line
AOE Dex/Qui debuff in 2 different lines

thats why albion is teaming with 50 spec Body sorcerers hu?, Debuffing your own DOT > Debuffing a DD and that Spec L20 root really comes in handy when the L19 baseline just don't cut it. As a CC class is a bit pointless having your first form of CC at L30 if you desided to spec body.

Give sorcerer AOE Snare in Matter line
Repace one of the aoe Dex/Qui Debuffs with something more useful
Set the L20 Spec Root to AOE like it should be (it did once delv as being AOE but I guess it was easyer to remove a bit of text than change the effect of the spell).
Give Sorcerer a single target Str/Con Debuff

Well... a BD I can solo with my BM occasionally, if TW is up and I get lucky with crits and offhand swings - but I've never beat a body sorc one on one - they can cast their nukes faster than a BD can cast his lifetap (i.e a sorc could get 4 nukes off - enough to kill me - in the time it would take for a BD to get 2 taps off) but yep BDs are overpowered too, especially in the BGs.

i don't think anyone can give any good resion why sorcerers have a Single Target Root at L20 in the spec body line when they get one at L19 in the baseline.

There's no point spicing a sorcerer if you want to nuke and debuff, Cabalists do it much better.
