All Animist 'fire and forget' turrets have been reduced in hit points by 70%.

Animist turrets cannot be cast upward over 250 units onto enemy keep or tower pieces. This is to stop turrets from ending up on the keep/tower ramparts, but still allows defenders to cast down onto attacking forces. Please note that Animists will still be able to cast upward over 250 units for their own realm's tower and keep pieces (or their own guild's tower and keep pieces for the PvP ruleset).

Turrets cannot be cast into the lord tower of a keep unless the Animist is also inside the lord tower. This is to stop turrets from being cast into rooms inside the lord keep through windows

Yep Mythic are trying their hardest to push all hibs away from hibernia/the game so they can delete the realm completely.

except that animist pets are completely usless if no one is there and casting times are a lot slower than thurgs give same casting times as thurgs and i'd be happy (all spells included)

Coming from an Alb... I think you'll find an animist nerf justified when sorcs, minstrels, reavers, paladins, infiltrators, scouts, theurgists and friars have been nerfed first.

Well some guy tested it and the new shrooms have about 550-600 hps...before they had about 1600+ hps and thats way too much for a lvl 44 spammable pet. 1 Aoe nuke won't kill them, maybe 2 will (but it will only kill the main shroom cause of aoe drop off)

And stop comparing shrooms to theurg pets. If you really have to compare those 2 classes, compare the bombers with the theurg pets, they have more in comment.

No, you clueless 89% quality ROG wears have to work for your RPs....

Animists are getting too used to being top of the food chain in keep defence/assault, which they probably still will be, just not as stupidly beyond everyone else as before.

I don't expect some Hibs to agree with this of course.

Straying from topic, the only thing stopping Hib from completely ruling Prdywen at the moment is the fact that too few Hibs come out to RvR regularly, otherwise it would be Hib's server. A large part of this is their ability to destroy any keep defence with ease mainly due to animists.

Anyone who doesn't think they still need massive nerfing is off their trolley and I'm not just talking the 15 shroom limit, but the other little tricks that animists abuse like dropping shrooms into lord rooms etc. At the moment, they have an incredibly unfair advantage compared to other classes when it comes to attacking enemies without LoS and if you recall, every class that has been able to abuse LoS to a ridiculous degree has been nerfed throughout the history of the game - chanters, necros, etc.

ehm just asking how much does the AE DoT hit for? :p around 100ish on a blue con with no resists no? 6 ticks=1 DoT can prolly wipe a camp :m00:

doesnt AE dot have drop off? So if you spread them out abit (could just make sure not able to get hit in one AE) not all would get wiped? Besides 6 ticks still gives them some time to do extra damage/start replacing them (somewhere else?).

with a decent crit. my shammys yellow AE dot can tick for about 120 dmg...

single target dot can reach about 190 with close to or with max crit i think..

havent used my single target in so very long time tho.
