I saw about five minutes of it once, and that's exactly what I thought. Shame as Rob Brydon's quite amusing.
Ironic tonight that he had Tony Wilson on the program, seeing as Brydon played a journalist in Twenty Four Hour Party People whom got told to fuck off by Steve Coogan, who was of course playing Tony Wilson.
I just read that Steve Coogan had a hand in making the Keith Barrett show so that might explain it! Don't get me wrong, I think its really funny and Rob Brydons great in it (I wasn't so keen on him before) its just really really similiar to KMKY, but I guess that can be said of most comedies.
