Yes I have, there's 2 1tb drives in there. One has the OS and the programs on and the other is storage for to a d movies (and other *ahem* stuff)You havn't got a 2nd hhd in it have you ? Bootmanager loaded but wasn't able to find a partition its assigned to. Makes me think its a 2nd drive. If not, might want to look at a backup solution while you have access.
Also
load up diskpart and select each disk (list disk | select disc X) and do a list volume make sure there isn't a boot partition on one of the other 2 drives that's causing the "mad" bootup.

Yep, done that too, but i've not shut it down since, should give it try I supposeBloke at work had a similar problem. He reset the BIOS and it worked (despite not having changed anything at all previously)
