I second the vote for improved Hostage AI - are they secretly in league with the terrorists? I'm starting to think there's a stupid AI trade union that demands that games cannot be created without their involvement... and the CS hostages are running it with the tiberium harvesters from the original C&C....

Have to admit I preferred the Hostages in UT mod Tactical Ops. Turn your back on them for a little while as a Terrorist and they might pick up a weapon and plug you in the head. Never seen a CS Hostage try to cap me :D

i think they should fix the thing where you cant move when some1s pumping u full of lead

its not very relaistic i would move and damn fast if some1 was shooting me repeatably

Are u stupid or something? The force of the bullet would change the direction of your movement, worse if u were wearing kevlar, this aspect of CS is spot on and realistic, u dumb SOB.

i dont want to see any big or drastic changes in this version of CS ... improvement to the hostages for sure ... i like the sound of them picking up guns and defending themselves if there left alone after being rescued :) maybe they would drop the gun if wounded ... need to improve there path finding skills too and stop them getting stuck :(



this probaley should be in a different thread but for CS 2 if theres ever one ... i'd like to see darkness and lightning and shadows done alot better ... i think this type of game could really use those things ... make it impossible for gamma changes to effect the darkness too ... also lighting effects like not being clearly able to see people standing behind spot lights or flash lights ... also destructable objects would be cool ... doors, some walls, shooting out lights, ... be cool to see the CT's bust open a door and using flash lights to shine into a dark room ... the T's wouldnt beable to make out the CT's because of the bright flash lights :) anyway this post is way to long :)

Your right about the bullet hitting moving thingy, i sure wouldn't be going anywhere after being hit with round. I once got told, the force of an assault rifle round hiting you is equal to the force of a house brick hitting you at 40mph. But don't go overboard on the CS realism bit though, because im pretty sure after hitting you with a round from a pistol, you would have a pretty hard job aiming your automatic in my direction:) Realism Indeed;)

Only the assault rifles and awp and the two other sniper rifles (not the scout) cause u to move when u are fired at, oh and the deagle. None of the other pistols or SMG's or for some fucked up reason the para cause u too move, or pin u when u are fired at. They all do however cause your aim to fuck up slightly.

Dont beleive me? Fine goto http://www.summerblue.net and check it out, although you really should have all done that over a month ago.
