super gray, the commantry on NBA basketball is part of what makes it so good, its hard to explain because its so different to uk commantary. Definately one good thing to come from america imo :)

Been watching the current cricket, England v India? Fine stuff, exciting, fast, fun - great cricket :)

And what's to understand? It's hardly rocket science - one bloke chucks a fucking hard wooden ball at another bloke (at up to 90+ mph) who has to hit it with a bit of wood... if the ball hits the wickets or his leg when it would have hit the wickets or if someone catches it after he's hit it then he's out and the next bloke has a go. Whoever hits it most wins. Brain surgery it ain't :)

Oh and watching cricket live is just superb. Bunch of mates, summers day, pile of beer, some men hitting bits of wood with other bits of wood off in the distance while you all get drunk in the sun, what more can you ask for?

I quite like Cricket. I only ever watch The Ashes religiously though, I tend to keep an eye on the scores however.

Mind you, channel4 can fuck off and die for cancelling ER every weekday to show cricket all day. Especially on my day off. :|

netball is just a seriously lame version of basketball, for girls and with all the fun parts removed, like dribbling, dunking etc :)

A few years ago I played for Lancashire under 16's :D

I was really good at cricket, even had trials for Northen England. But then I discovered beer. :(

I am partial to a bit of cricket now and then. I considered going and watching the test at Trent Bridge during the ashes, however didn't have the balls to do it :/ I don't know anyone to go and watch cricket with really :(

And it'll be, what, 4 years till i'll get a chance to watch the Ashes here? :(

theres someone else here supports the knicks they have a link in their sig to a fan site, but i cant remember who it is and basketball has never come up in any coversations on here b4 :)

ME, lol :). It's cos there aren't many fans I guess. NY suck badly this year :(. I like the Hornets too, though New Orleans Hornets sounds crap.

lol, never noticed it was you hehe :) and yeh new york tend to suck most of the time :| i used to play basketball heaps for a team, about 2 hour practices a week, man i was fit then, got selected for scottish squad aswell, but never got to play, loved the game since the first time i played it :) hmm need to get sky and watch more, im also hoping to start playing again when i go to uni after summer :)

Cricket completely depends on what kind of mood I'm in as to whether it's shit or not. I've been to watch matches before, and there's nothing quite like sitting out there with a crate of beer on a nice, warm summer afternoon. Didn't actually really pay attention to the cricket though, so... yeah, it is shit. :)
