lo everyone,

Well, I use IRC pretty constantly, and so, i use HalfIRC when I am in Counter-Strike games. Because I am bollock lazy, is there anything that I can do to open mIRC and HalfIRC at the same time? I know how to make DOS batch files, but what is the command to execute a program, or is this even possible?

You should ask this in the HalfLife forum.

I think in DOS you just cd into the dir, and type the name of the file.
IE:

cd "c:/Program Files/HalfIRC"
HalfIRC.exe --tray
cd "c:/SIERRA/Half-Life"
hl.exe $*

But that last bit might be a bit wrong as i don't know any DOS, so i'm just guessing that that might work to let you use your script with ASE or something.

iirc the following should work

start c:\mirc\mirc32.exe
start c:\sierra\half-life\hl.exe -game cstrike

but my memory isn't great & i've been drinking, so lemmie know :)
