Tbh IRC baffles me.
Is anyone ever actually there?? or is it just their names. I can start a conversation (if thats what its known as) and no-one will answer..................ahhh, wait a minute, now I understand.:(

I'm going to jump on the mIRC and PnP bandwagon here. PnP is great because you can hide or disable all the crap you never use.

NoName just annoyed me, it did have some nice touches, I like the ballons at the bottom when you have IRC minimised, but the mp3 player i never use, I already had a script for connecting to games which I didn't use, and after a week I had to change back to PnP.

But I have to agree that Xchat owns you all.;)

Yes, because a text editor really needs a LISP interpreter built into it. Suuuure.

vi is the only editor. word.

vi is the peon of unix editors... I use it for editing single files, in situations where there's no point in starting up xemacs...

On topic :
mIRC.
Does everything I could want it to.

I find argueing about linux text editors well..... um... decidedly dull.
