When I delete a playlist on my ipod Nano 2gb it deletes it but doesn't free up anymore space than when it was there and also in my library the songs remain. I had this problem before but for the life of me cannot find the solution this time.

Any ideas luvs?

This is what I like to see :)

More please.

The playlist is merely a small file that tells the ipod what songs to play. I'm not sure if there is an option to delete songs when playlist is deleted. You may have to do it manually. It would seem silly not to have this option though.

I am aware that I haven't helped you in anyway.

*flicks*

It seems to be keeping the original files somewhere else and also the space they took up. It is a problem I did have before and a Google search fixed it, it was a tick somewhere that needed removing. Cannot for the life of me find what it was now.

I don't add cd's as such, I make a new playlist for 1 cd then add it to that playlist, it was the only way I could figure to play just one cd at a time rather than a great messy folder full of everything I have added. I am thinking this is the wrong way of doing it but I have a 60gb hard drive of MP3's, so that each time I want something new I just drag and drop into a new playlist folder I made rather than converting a cd each time I want it on my iPod.

It is the most annoying thing since Leggy wouldn't let me have a bash at his sister.

Overdriven - I have a Creative Zen as well but the sound on the iPod is far superior and the battery lasts forever......you big spastic.

iTunes does have AIDS.

I thought Anapod was just a browsing tool for the iPod, can you actually make playlists etc with it?

You can do pretty much anything that you would want to. Including the transfer of songs from ipod to PC.
