I remember a few years back Steve Jobs held up an Apple phone at a Mac show and said this would be the future, the phone came out and everyone said it was rubbish then Sony put a walkman in a phone and suddenly it was the future after all.

because everyone knows that apple couldent do anything right even if their life were depending on it.

granted sony isnt perfect either but compared to apple? the gap is so wide u could fit grand canyon in there.

apple DO make generally shit products. the tech in iteslf might not be all that bad, but its all the shit around it thats making them shoot themself in the foot time after time after time after time, and they dont even learn from it.

I quite like my ipod thxverymuch. Does just what I want plays MP3's...granted it has fucked up a few times but i'll put that down to my lazyness and the fact I used to run a barley working windows.

(Has anyone noticed that, if you dont know anything about PC's you get problems fixed asap, but if you know quite a bit you kinda live with loads of problems on the OS that you can hide away and work around ?)

I've been meaning to re-install windows on the wife's machine for about 1.5 years now, it's soo fucked up its funny, but hell, it still works! kinda...sorta...if you treat it right and buy it dinner first.

I dont understand the fucking deal with itunes.. why cant it just be treated as a standard drive when it connected so you can drag and drop instead of being forced to convert files and further reduce their quality.

The press release said it will revolutionise mobiles but i have a phone with a 3.2mp camera and 4gb of music already or with bluetooth i have 4gb of memory to play with so what dose this £300 phone do for me? Apart from forcing me to use itunes it dose nothing new.

This will be one for the fashion whores only and even then the Nokia 8800 is a better phone

yeah, my dad calls me when he cant find his firefox icon, have to come and fix it, or anything else for that matter. its quite fun to see how far you can keep it running without fixing stuff - it backfired on me one day tho, forgot to skip filecheck and it deleted 4 gigs of high valued gaming material :< bye bye hl2save game almost done ;<

Nobody really makes a phone without a mp3 player now even Nokias business phones have them Just buy a non walkman branded phone if you do not want the walkman player.
