Logging your every movement from gps when you have it on or constantly from cell triangulation. keeping the file on the phone and it gets transferred to a pc when connecting to itunes, where it can be easily read and plotted on a map.
Nothing really suprising here, it's just they get permission for this from the last page of the conditions you accept.
I wouldn't myself have a single piece of Apple shite in my house, not because the hardware isn't excellent, which it is, it's that you let corporate America shag your bum while your asleep.
many apps probably do it anyway and send it to god knows where, and that could happen on any OS, Android, Symbian ,Blackberry etc.
