Anyone using an iPhone/iPad and with BT

I cant seem to configure it to send emails, I can receive them ok, but the outgoing settings are wrong

and don't bother with the 'huh, apple are shit get a sammy' bollocks either, they're just phones

Sadly it is an Apple problem.

My misses has just gotten her shiny new iPhone 6 and it refuses to send emails unless she manually hits send over and over, then waits for it to go before closing that email, otherwise they just sit in the outbox forever. We discovered this after she'd emailed me a few things to print and after a few days i hadn't come home with them, a quick investigation later and she had 30 emails sitting in the outbox without realising it.

I stuck another mail app onto the phone and it went back to working like it did previously.

Possibly go annoy Apple at one of their stores for an answer if it's convenient.

It's never worked on my phone since I've had it, nearly 3 yrs

Check that your settings are using the right ports for your email service.
