I feel I must invite the fine members of BW to have a look around a great new online community I'm involved in building up.

It's fun, fast and friendly. It's not designed in any way to be up against the BW forums as it's more general in its content.

It's not profit making or commercial in any way and doesn't even carry banner ads so it's hyper fast.I'd be honoured if some of you nice BW types would take a look....and even maybe join in!

It's NOT hosted on CJB.

I'm using a CJB redirect URL to point to them at the moment, that's all.

the server it's hosted on is actually damned good and damned fast. It isn't a free server, it actually costs me money to host it on there.

This isn't your typical Ezboard free pile of crap, it's actually been done as professionally as could be with our own skills and free time. It's an attempt to provide an online community that's fast, free of charge and non-commercial. Which means no pop up ads and no banner ads.

If I wanted to make a simple run of the mill forum I could have used Ezboard or Suddenlaunch for nothing and had slow speed and ruddy popups everywhere!

I've put the green one on now...a lot of people have said they quite like that.

I must confess the colour scheme is a tricky point....the red and yellow has always been the default colour scheme for the main website, which long predates the forums...and a lot of the regs seem to like the yellow.

But new members always find it a tad harsh. I'm often experimenting with different schemes, but finding good ones ain't as easy as it sounds!

Having said that, when I first read barrysworld a year or so back I found it very harsh....but it kinda grew on me and I think it's fine now.

Your forums look good, my only observation would be having the logo stick at the top like it does.

On an 800X600 res it makes the actual viewing area for the forums themselves rather small and difficult to work with. Apart from that, looks good!
