I'll be there selling my things, and there will also be a few other weaponcrafters that can make the more basic items. Please be sure to make use of those people, in general I don't have a higher chance to make high quality items than they do (in this patch at least), except they make stuff which is close to their skill-limit.

In a slight change to the way the bazaar will work - unlike any other government I've ever heard of, it's been decided that taxes are abolished, so things will be even simpler on the day - arrive, craft, and sell to your hearts content

About the "slave for a day" auction..


Gwaen and myself (despite Kaiser's disapproval) have generously offered ourselves for the auction. This is, after all, for our crafters and they need to be supported.

Should be an interesting day, to say the least. Just glad that the mids and hibs can't make it. I shudder to think of them bidding on us!

what a great even that was. sold 1 sword, 3 pieces of armour. bought 2 very needed pieces of armour and even got some advice from hendrick on weapons!

Very nice event. Thanks to Nim the announcer, Liste the bouncer and all the crafters that came. Thanks especially to K for setting up the merchants and various crafting utilities.

I didn't buy anything or get anything, just gave stuff away to others. Did walk away shaking my head at how much some people paid for some things. When I saw what some items went for, I didn't hang around for long, because I just knew I'd never outbid anybody. Happens when you're a n00b.

The most expensive sales I saw was 980g for a 15.3 dps molten sword (oooh, glowing sword. ). And 1.5p by someone buying his own wife as a slave for 3 hours..but I thought...

Maybe I'll get something at the next one, there were just 1,000,001 infiltrators there looking for stealth items.

It was a fine event indeed. Ludlow really came to life, and there was even a vague in-character feeling that warmed the cockles of my nerdy roleplaying heart. Ziera and PARP (still the worst acronym in the gaming world) have got off to a great start. Long may this continue.
