Invasion

Has Anyone been watching Invasion on Channel 4/E4 that started this week at all ? Must admit I got quite hooked on it from episode one. Bit of a cross between The X Files, V and Outbreak. Lots of conspiracies and sub-plots.

Anyone watched it and what did you think ?

It's crap. Downloaded and watched the first 4 episodes and gave up, not enough was happening to keep my interest, and the plot seemed stale and derivative.

I'm still annoyed that a great series like Threshold was cancelled and rubbish like this and Surface were not!

i like Invasion, but then I also like Surface .

Threshold started off good but towards the end just before it was cancelled it turned into a bag of shit. The stories seemed to be the same each week and the CGI got worse, which was a shame as it started off so well.

If we wanna talk about good shows that were cancelled lets talk about odyssey 5 .

Seemed quite good but it did seem rather slow.. will keep wathing though if i remember - Definately has potential.

I thought Threshold was awsome too and to the guy who says the show was repetative.. what kind of bs is that dude..? you just described almost every show on television.

Take CSI and all the rest of the dumb cop shows.

Invasion is a very slow starter, it only really starts getting really interesting around ep 6 and having just watched ep 11, I can safely say that it's getting better. Still a pisser that Threshold was fucking cancelled though

meh invasion started of well got boring inbetween then the last 3 eps were great. just finished watching em and found out its been canceled, so i take it the viewer ratings dropped or is it the normal tv execs being f00s again

The ratings dropped dramatically by the looks of it, the 'something new' phase had worn off.
The show was getting boring anyway, started well but just seemed another clone of 'The Body Snatchers' - for which there are plenty of already.

Basically, it was stuck in the slot on a Wednesday night after Lost. So I think everyone watched Lost and then couldn't be bothered with keeping the same channel on, so no one in the states watched invasion

The second season could have been good though. To see what happened to an already pregnant woman when she is turned into a hybrid. Could have been interesting, guess we'll never know.
