I downloaded MSN Plus and got some crappy IE add-on that has managed to set the 404-page (or whatever you know the broken link page) to a shitty search page with added extra shitty pop-ups

Does anyone know how to change it back?

i downloaded MSN plus but didnt get that - but I did get it from somewhere else. After faffing around deleting things, i got rid of the search page - but now when i type a search into the address bar, instead of MSN search kicking in IE tries

then it cant find it and it gives

http:///? whateveriputin.

similarly for domains that are nonexsistant

http:///? www.wijxxxpron.com

i dont know what to do :?

I believe that Ad-Aware v6.0 Personal/Professional should do the trick. At least it worked for me. Just make sure that when you scan with ad-aware, that you tick: 'Deep Scan Registry'. You can get Ad-Aware at: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

If that doesn't work I read on some Msg Plus! forum that you can grab an enhanced msg plus! uninstaller somewhere, which will remove the spyware, pop-ups, addons etc. which came with Msg Plus!
