3-0 and not playing too badly, Gareth Barry makes a massive difference in midield, we just look much better balanced. Shame we don't have a world class left winger with a left foot though, Joe Cole is a good player but he has no pace and is always looking to get it on his right foot and skip inside. We need service from the wings with players going to the byline and opening up the defence for a killer cross.

You'll never see a more one sided game than Scotland v Ukraine. And not from a Scottish point of view. I think the final possesion ended up 35% Scotland 65% Ukraine. We just let them have the ball and scored 3 quality goals =)

Credit to the Scots, they got a great result there. Hopefully now this win will make the radio stations up here stop going on about McFaddens goal against France. Yes that was an important goal but it werent a great goal, all he done was hit the target and the keeper fucked up big time.
Ukraine done some the basic wrongs and Scotland made them pay for that, the 2nd goal which came from the freekick was kiddie football by Ukraine, everybody knows that trick yet they didnt read it. But quality finish from the guy. Hoping for a Scotland & Italy qualifying two.
England with an easy result there, would like to have seen them press more in the second half so that they were on fire for the russia game which is going ot be a difficult one. We need a good result there and hopefully will get it. Hopefully be up for the game, though no doubt our formation will change from the 4-4-2 ( that served us so well and Wright-Phillips putting in great performances ) to a 4-5-1 with Wright-Phillips being dropped. I hope I am wrong with that though.
