Well i have to slightly agree from a completely neutral point of view.

Sports in "from interesting to boring" go;

American football, basketball/hockey, baseball, footie.

Doesn't make footie any less of a sport and it's not "what is best sport", but when it comes to entertainment, footie is at the bottom of the list, almost tied with baseball.

Also i do believe footie isn't at ALL "american" and should be kept away from there

And we all know curling is the most interesting sport ever invented to this discussion is pointless.

American Football is only really interesting if you watch the heavily edited post match version, that skips all the breaks for adverts, the sport has been ruined by advertising. There should be an ad break at the beginning, half time and the end, maybe a quick one at the end of each quarter. NOT every 5 minutes.

Saying american football is more interesting than real football means your a yank, hate football for some reason or have a shite domestic league. Even the most boring Premiership game is less boring than american football the only sport that takes 4 hours to show you 80 minutes. American football can be great but like has been said you need to watch the MOTD version or its depressingly slow. Baseball is also 9 times out of 10 boring, 1 or 2 pitches a minutes on average 20? pitches before they swap over and you start waiting again with how long you have to wait for something interesting you would need another tv just to keep you awake till something happens. A good baseball game though can be mental very high paced and good skills.

Do you reckon thats why yanks with enough money have 8 tvs each playing a different game so they can nearly always be watching sport?

Well simply you are wong! But american football is throw...miss...run...throw/punt and then either a break to move the chains or a break so they can punt it then a break so they turn around the teams then repeat. It is the most boring sport to watch live.

football our version you know the version invented long before that shit with ballerinas and more padding than an asylum, is one of the most exciting games on the planet, the simple fact that we have multiple leagues over every continent, the biggest sports event in the world, and many other international and domestic cups, these speak volumes about the popularity of the sport.
