Will be intersting to see how WAR pans out with the financial and marketing backing that EA should be able to bring to the table.

In Europe it will get bottlenecked by GOA's ineptitude, should do alright in the US though :)

Some interesting bits.

Quality and execution are so essential to a good launch. Many MMOs in past have launched before they should've been. This isn't like a game where you've paid for it once and expect a few patches just to fix the major bugs, you're paying a monthly fee and expect a game - not a beta test.

WoW had a quality game, but couldn't cope with the number of people signing up. Mythic ended up releasing DAoC before it was finished, with many parts of the game not completed. GOA eventually launched DAoC with very little UK advertising and poor support afterwards.

If you launch a buggy game which isn't finished your players will notice it.

I think he kinda goes off the point at times going on about the chef, kinda reminds me of Mourinho and omlets.
