http://www.pandora.com/ is a radio which finds music similar to the kind you ask for.

When you log in it asks you to give a song name or artist name, you type in (as an example) Disturbed, and it will play a song from disturbed first, and you got an option to say if you like or dislike it. After that they'll find music which they think you'll like based on what you have been voting on the past song(s).

I don't know if this is old, as I accidently stumbled upon this when I needed something to listen to

You are never in any position to choose what to listen to, just what type of music (though you can skip to the next song).

They don't have the license to play a certain song you wish to listen to.
