IntelliMouse Explorer Thumb Buttons

I just gotten a new mouse a Miscrosoft Explorer with IntelliEye and i got the 3.1 driver for ME and it show all the buttons inside of the driver program but quake3 doesnt seem to see it. How do i define the large thumb button and the small thumb button.

Set the buttons you wanna use in the driver program (I've got left button SHIFT,right unbound atm) then just bind it as you usually would ie. 'bind SHIFT weapon 7' or whatever you want it to do
