Insta media rip program

A m8 of mine recommended a program but I cant for the life of me remember its name !

Its something like "Optcentre" or "Otpcontrol"...?

Basically its a free download that rips tunes or videos that play within their own windows from some site. Eg. you go onto a pop singer's web site and you can play sample music from within that site. Well this program will rip that music to your hard-drive as its played.

Anyone know the program ?

The only program I can think of is web based, you copy / paste the page into a box and turn it into HTML format (code) and search for .wmv or similar.
