Its boring when you see 2000 people having names like Ignah, Tralon and other hardcore rollplaying crap names.

From what i understood they are not forcing anyone to have a roleplay name. But name like "thereisnospoon" "1R0xj00b15H" "Druglord" or "michaeljackson" are not allowed.

I like the policy, i don't mind names that arent roleplay names, but complete sentences, l33tspeak, or very "clever" word combinations if find annoying, and yes, "immersion-breaking". I just hope they will be actively searching for the policy breakers and not just wait for someone to report someone else.

Nah, that is not really my thing and besides, i will probably forget to roleplay when something exciting happens anyway
But when im playing a game like WoW, it just annoys me to see such "names".

In such games a name should be a name, not some sort of description, funny/witty/cool comment or message but thats how i feel about it

Better check the naming policies first though.

They are inforcing those, but the policies have been changing a lot lately.

Atleast "Lord" isn't allowed ( being a title ), not sure if "Lords" is allowed for guilds. Better clear it with a blizzard-rep first
