Infraction = breaking a rule
Warning = beein warned of for example breaking a rule

2 totally different words with different meanings.

What a load of bollocks, this place has been great for years as it is but recently I have seen some very silly moderating and now we get an 'infractions' system. What next? No swearing because kids might be reading? No references to sex or pornography? We have already seen stupidity reigning supreme with the closure of threads discussing how to set up Utorrent, no illegal links were posted and Utorrent has 100% legal uses but still the threads get closed.

Deebs, if you read this please please please don't let the politically correct brigade take over FreddysHouse or influence it's direction. These forums have a been a haven of sanity and humour to it's many loyal members for years and changes like this combined with some silly moderating are only going to do damage.

that comment has no fucking place on these forums giving the fact that my mum is actually terminally ill.

For that you will get a ban that I will determine the length of, I will instruct all the mods to alert me to any alt accounts you may create.

I am a fairly moderate guy and generally let people get on with stuff, but sometimes you always find one idiot that wants to push a little too hard.

There's a fine line in being borderline insulting(which is usually let slid) and insulting the owner of the freakin' forums.

Sorry to hear about your mum Deebs, hope she gets atleast moderetly better(i'm guessing terminal is just that...). Might have commented it on another part, but can't hurt to say it again.

let me get this straight.

There has been a warning system in place at FH for well over a year but with the upgrade to 3.6.x it was deemed unnecessary and to use the inbuilt infraction system.

The upside is that when a mod gives you a warning/infraction you are also sent a private message detailing why you have received one.

We have never censored any swearing apart from the 4 letter word that starts with a C, no need to post it, you all know it.

If you can point me to the threads that were closed in what you think were incorrect then I will look into it. Remember, if you ever feel someone has overstepped their mark, send me a private message and I will look into it.

Not at all, merely pointing out that moderating is very decent in my opinion and when someone does get banned - such as Macabre - a line has been crossed.

Also, sorry to hear about your mother. Must be tough times.

If i had to comment on the banning, which i don't liek doing too much since mods are mods and that's it, it would be that don't be too harsh on him as i doubt he knew about your mother.

Then again...knowing maCaBr3...might have not stopped him
