To activate SI:

1) Go to the official website, http://www.camelot-europe.com , log in to your account, and you will be able to activate it there.

2) You can activate Shrouded Isles from within the game.

For both methods, there is a limit of 80 users at one time, in order to prevent our billing system from crashing.

We are all still here at GOA and still working on bringing you Shrouded Isles and the version 1.57. The german and french patchers are up and the english one is coming up soon I'm told.

However, there is a problem with the current patchers, affecting players who are "unable" to connect to the patch servers (because of the current load on our patchers). If you fail to connect to the patchers, then the patcher will automatically replace your update.dat file to the 1.59 one (Mythic's one) and proceed to patch you in the version 1.59.

The only solution to fix this is to re-install Shrouded Isles.


On a side note, our official website is under heavy pressure, with players trying to activate their account and players trying to get the news. We are currently using Barrysworld (thanks a lot folks), and some IRC channels to keep you up to date with what is happening.

Things are moving our way more and more every minute and we will get this patch done!

I will try to give you more information as soon as possible.

Seems that you don't have to reinstall SI. Just use the WISE-Installer to repair your installation. (Control -> Software -> Daoc SI -> Repair)

Well, here we go!

Our last tests were good and we are now opening servers and patch servers one by one.
As you can imagine, a lot of players will try to connect at the same time and this can cause some problem if you are trying to patch.

We will post a huge news about Shrouded Isles as soon as possible but, as you already noticed I'm sure, our website is also under heavy pressure for the moment, both by players trying to read the news and players trying to activate their SI CD KEYS.

Shrouded Isles, Day II.


Well, while this morning was smooth, lots of players are again connecting to the registration system and the process is again slow. The registration is up, but you will need some tries before being able to connect.


Also, we have some know minor bugs:
- If you are using the classical DAOC client, you will have some labels missing on the new command panel. This will need a patch to be fixed (missing some graphics).
- If you are using the transparent interface, you will notice that some item names in your inventory will not display properly. Again, this is graphics related, fixed with coming fix patch.


RightNow CS is also a bit slow today (since lots players asking questions) and you may have to try a couple times before being able to ask a question.

On the positive side, SI is fully up and playable, many players are already in the game. The registration system will probably be hammered today and tomorrow but other than that, things are working fine.

More news coming as soon as I get them.

Hiyas again,

In order to allow more players to activate their SI accounts and register, we temporarilly brought down RightNow, our customer support tool.

If you are having issues and need to report through Rightnow, you will have to wait a little.

If you are trying to activate your SI account and get the message "invalid CD KEY", please triple check that you typed your CD KEY correctly. If you still can't get it to work, please contact subscription@goa.com.

Our official website is up and running smooth now. You should have no problem connecting to the SI activation page and subscription page.

Our customer support tool is still down for now, we want to make sure that players can register in time for the weekend. We will bring Rightnow back up as soon as possible.

Today is the official UK release and you may have little slowdowns tonight again but should be better overall.
