Info please

Was playing the game a few mins ago....got disconnected from server and when i tried to log back in it chucked me to the very first realm select screen. I have fired an email off to blizzard helpdesk. But, has anybody else had this happen to them, and if so...what can i do to sort it out??

Scratch that...about 10 mins after this Emerald Dream went down...and when it came back up i could log on as normal with all chars !!!...phew.

Made me twitch for a few mins there ((o:

Auth servers have been having trouble and there is maintenance every wednesday.
