Just out of interest, i was wondering if ''Thrust'' still used ''Dex + Quickness'' as its main attribute?
And Slash is still only Strength?

Can anyone clarify this as some people i have spoke to say ''Thrust'' is purely Dex only!!

And Slash is pure Str for sure.

You need more Quickness = keep up with your m8s on a night out so you dont end up asleep on a park bench

Slash is a mix of dexterity and strenght. Crush is pure strenght

Im in the making of becoming a pure 'mele' Scout, I am a Saracen and am speced 'Thrust'!!
Do i put my 'SC' pts in 'Str or Qui' is what i will need to know then

flex and thrust = str/dex
any stave and bow = dex
rest = str

quick just effect how fast you swing the weapon, and actually lowers your damage on a per hit basis. but youll hit more often so it evens out over time.

Ok, i now know its Str/Dex orientated so thanks guys for your replies!
As for Afran's comment... Not everyone knows this even the people who have played the game years
When you are told something like this like i was about 2 yrs ago, then its in ya mind that its still right! lol
And alot of people didnt know so its good its on hear for people to read!

crush = 100% str
slash = 100% str
flex = 50% str, 50% dex
thrust = 50% str, 50% dex
2 handed = 100% str (regardless of weapon type)
pole = 100% str (regardless of weapon type)
staff = 100% dex
bow = 100% dex
xbow = 50% str, 50% dex

evade = 50% dex, 50% quick
parry = ? think this is 50% dex, 50% quick.. can anyone clarify?
blocking (for those that can spec shield) = 100% dex
