Today I'm just running around on inf, game locked, pc rebooted and generated the error below.

Got back into windows, updated drivers, logged back in, did it again 5minutes later. Then again 30secs into game. (all in toa client).

Logged in into DR client, the screen flickers, locks up really fast.

Took out the card and gave it a clean, same issues (so doesnt appear to be drivers or heat related as far as I can tell?)

I'm sat in windows with it at the moment, its not whining at me or anything but doesnt seem to be quite right ... might be just me tho. No apparent problems with it according to windows, i've not installed anything or removed anything recently that might cause this, i've never had this issue before. It doesn't appear to be quite the same thing as the common crashes reported with the GF6600's ...

wtb help :(

Latest drivers are 84.21 and you are using 71.89. I would highly recommend updating your drivers first.

Nvidia Drivers Page.

Make sure when installing new drives you clean out your old system first.

i.e.
1) hardware->uninstall card.
2) run a driver cleanup program like driver cleaner pro to remove old traces of dll files etc.
3) install new drivers.

Make sure you reboot between each step.

Infinate loop errors are a nightmare, from what I've read basically what happens is the gfx card or cpu stops responding to the other and thus bounces back information ofc it then resends and so forth thus the infinate loop this is non recoverable error and why it reboots.

First thing I'd check is all drivers chipset etc then voltage ratings could be time for a new psu, could also be a temperature problem or a faulty component :< if you search google for infinate loop you will find multiple "solutions" because it is an error that can occur from a lot of different things :(

Yes I've had this myself and no I still havn't got it working 100% gl with it!

sounds like overheating, make sure cooler is in good contact with chip and/or take it off and apply more/better thermal paste. also make sure its turning at a decent speed ofc
