I know I am but a young sprite new to all these worldly experiences, but I got proper indigestion (not your heartburn gastric reflux bollocks) for the first time last night and omg I thought I was going to pass out with the pain!

It felt like someone had grabbed my stomach, tied it into a plait, and then weaved it amongst my ribs and spine.

I have greater respect for anyone that suffers from this a lot, and I know not to eat cherries before bedtime!

Try eating pickled onions, the vinegar is acidic so it will burn any food away. Tis completely safe.

If your feeling hardcore then maybe sip a little haha!

It was really weird - I had my main meal (fish and a jacket potato) at about 7pm, then had some cherries at 11pm. When I went to bed about midnight, I had a bit of bellyache, but nothing major, so took a rennie and went to bed. I woke up at 2:30 (my husband loved this bit) in absolute agony. It was the equivalent pain of a badly broken bone, and was much worse when lying down. I didn't have any heartburn and my stomach was pretty quiet (no weird gurgles), so I rang NHS direct - the doctor told me to take 4 rennies and 2 paracetamol, which I did, and then 3/4 of an hour later, the pain had dropped enough for me to go back to sleep.

Was really odd but scared the shit out of me at the time. Although it didn't scare me as much as the time that I got something in my eye, and my eyeball swelled up and turned bright yellow, but hey, thats another story!

stomach pain is nasty:<
ive had bad indigestion. hurt like hell, and then had the biggest poo in my entire life
had to keep flushing, was there for about 2hrs

A pain that intense could have been a gall stone/bladder attack.

I used to suffer from terrible stomach aches from a very young age up until i was well into my teens. Used to eat a medicine called Minifom (in swedish anyway) which helped, but i had to eat it regularely, as a preventative, couldnt just take it when the pain started. Then the aches stoped when i got older and now i very rarely have them.
