Incorrect dll error when joining FLF games...?

Trying to widen my HL experience by trying some of the mods, but I've had an error on trying to join all FLF and Firearms servers. I get WON authenticated OK + my game is patched to the latest HL level. However I get a message saying "clinet dll is different to server dll" and then a dll named (can't remember it off the top of my head, sorry!).
I think I'm patched to the most recent versions on the mods as they were downloaded only a few weeks ago, but I'll check that out when I get home.

Any idea what's wrong.

flf has been updated to ... 1.2a (the "a" bit look) i believe, dont know whta the BW servers are on, go ask in #barrysworld

I've noticed on the flf website (www.flfmod.com) that 1.3 is coming out next week and they're promising a simpler install than the 3 part 1.2a, so I'll wait until then, filling my time with tfc undoubtedly

Yeah i am also trying to broaden my HL mod exerience, and i downloaded FLF 1.2a, but i didn't find it that fun And they have a huge green circle as a crosshair, which just looks stupid, and you can't change it! I've uninstalled it now.

I've also downloaded Firearms, but it also found it's way to the recycle bin

The only mods that have survived is TFC, CS (Of course ) and Day of Defeat, which rules.

However, a new mod which looks rather tasty is The Specialists. It's like CS but with very customisable guns.

Oh, and well done for gettin out of Penge mate.

I cna hardly believe that I installed wizard wars. Drab all over. With Dod I've also had a problem just the last 2 weeks, where it's given me a "your version of *insert map name here* does not match the servers version. So I'm locked out of there also...

Any server recommendations which are busy, as most of teh most servers seem either derted or suddenly full, where a group have just descended on it.

I am going to try DOD, I cant bring myself to do it though.

This is because of my experience with past mod's first I tried TFC after months of CS, I began to wonder what the hell people saw in it I thought it a big pile of cack. Then I tried FLF, detirmined to like it, I played it through my boredom but could not get into it.

I have heard good things about DOD but am sure that if it does not live up to CS or tribes 2 that I will not like it at all :/

I've just downloaded science and industry and it don't work FFS. It says "Couldn't load conback.lmp". WTF does this mean?

It means that for some reason conback.lmp could not be loaded.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no. I've searched for conback.lmp and their aint one. Any intelligent suggestions?

THe usuall HL mod related suggestions; you d/led a corrupt patch/upgrade (mod), the installation fucked up, HL needs to be reinstalled.

Basically go d/l science and ind again see if u get same probs, are u sure u got the full science and ind mod and not just a patch for a previous version of the mod. Try reinstalling HL and the mod may help, usually does where HL is concerned.
