Tonight i recieved my SWG beta account and game, so i will not be playing DAoC actively for a while...if its good, I will play there permantly when it goes live.

I'll prolly be around for a lil bit longer to give some of the lame whiners a chance to do some more whining

I have every right to be nasty to Alrindel..go read his other posts in threads regarding me then have a rethink....ive been nothing but nice to him and certain others, only got shit in return..no point in being nice to people like him im afraid.

He digs in every post about buffbots...never see him mention so called buff bot abuse to any of the other albs or mids and even hibs that use buff bots...seems like green eyed monster to me.

I have nothing against you though. Every MMRPG, has a few hard core section of players that devote ridiculous amounts of time and effort into trying to get to the top.... thing is they all burn out at some point.... Daoc really isnt that sort of game.

Hope you do come back though.... Im sure your a nice chap under all them buffs.

PS... give your account to someone with one PC only, so they can try playing a minstral in the manner they were designed to be played. Buffbots are lame.

PPS... Alrindel if your witt was a AOE DD Alb would never make it past AMG. you crack me up.

That is a better reply, alrindel was being semi-jokey (i hope ) so a jokey reply is more fitting. Calling someone an idiot is not nice and can be hurtful. (sorry, my vocabulary is greatly decreased atm as i am currently slightly drunk)

Anyways, hope to see u about the gorge/emain a few more times. At least wait till i get a few more realm lvls and can afford purge so i can maybe try to cast one spell against you (too lazy to respec so am just waitin till i've saved up enough ) before u go. Last night got jumped by a yellow con minstrel while I didn't have bubble up, got mezzed, got DD'd a few times, then I got off twf and luckily I had haste running so hit him a LOT + did dmg add -> minstrel dead Hoping to find it was Alpha, I checked the name...

A buffbot is a character which you play on a seperate account, with another computer and a second line or broadband.
You level both and walk around with the two using the buffs from one to increase the strength of the other?

Is this correct?

Nah, i still beat the odd skald here and there, and if its going bad i use IP and just hope they aint got there's charged as well

Nolbypride PK did the same to me, once he hit 50 he always used to own my theurgist (well except that one time when i pet bombed him and became the first caster to kill him solo (apparently)). So i lvled up a minstrel and when i hit 50 nolbypride was nowhere to be seen .

P.s. NP could kill Raist in 4 shots, first shot bt, i stop running, second shot normal, 300 dmg, auto target pops up, i press /face, QC, mezz, second shot hits, 300 dmg, i almost finish casting mezz, third shot hits i die . The time i pet bombed him i had like 3% life left.

Hope you enjoy SWG Alpha, gonna have to check that game out myself at some point.

Almost correct; you walk around with only 1: the strengthened char. The buffer stays in a safe place like your telekeep in the enemy frontier, so he never gets killed and thus your buffs never fade.

I think all's been said on the buffbot issue. Some think it's lame, some think it's acceptable, most don't care.

Aye but mythic are about to release a patch that ruins buff bots, they need to within a certain range of the buffed character for them to work anymore.
