My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends.

He was a familiar face in the green fields for a long time and it is people like him who add something priceless to daoc and that is community.

Respect from a fellow scot to his brave heart.

me and soulja came up with an idea, mebbe, He spent days on end farming leps in collory on his enchanter Fuiddind, with his wardi bot, mebbe put a permanent gravestone or a statue there, in his memory

With NF coming will leps still be there ? I really havent read up on NF so Im not sure ...If its not there what about putting a large tree or statue in the ilfirin arda Housing plot ? only an idea - or the next npc to be put in tnn to be known as wicardonn..

WICARDONN THE RANGER TRAINER - we would all appreciate that if you could consider it ...please ...

Cant say ive seen the person more than a few times, but as far as I can see, he seemed like a very nice person, who were loved for his kindness. I give my support to anything planned to give him a last salute.

My deepest sympathies to his brother and family.

Rest in peace Wicardonn :(

Just double checked to make sure and yeah come NF the leps are gone so Im all for my other idea of the trainer - its a delicate situation for the board mods because although there has been a personal loss to the players and family ..it would mean altering the game by putting a new name on the trainer - I can understand that this might be a bit tricky or maybe no even do-able but we ( I presume most are for it ? ) all would greatly appreciate this ... to the GM's .. what are the chances of getting this done ?

also the ranger MUST be wearing green armours...

post here or send a pm

My deepest condolences to Shaggz and family, Wic was a special person, as has been shown by all the comments. I'm sure I speak for Jupiter Guild when I say we fully support the renaming of a ranger trainer in his honour

Events like this are very tragic and obviously affect the community greatly. Unfortunately they aren't as uncommon as you may think. I've read the suggestions put forward for a memorial of some kind and, while I am deeply sympathetic to the family and friends of Wicardonn, I'm afraid that we can't do things like that.

Partly it's because we are limited in the changes we can make to the game and partly it's because Dark Age of Camelot is a game and things that happen in it should relate to the game world and not to real life.

I appreciate that this may sound harsh and I apologise for that but really there's no other way to say it. If we made such a gesture for Wicardonn, we'd be bound to do the same thing in every similar circumstance and there's plenty of examples of players (in other games) faking things like this just to get some kind of ingame 'fame'. It sounds crazy I know but there really are people like that out there.

I am very sorry for the loss of such a popular player, friend to many and brother to some, and all of us here at Goa extend our deepest sympathies to his family at this difficult time. It is my view that the best way to remember him is to cherish the good times you had in game and remember amongst yourselves the stories you shared with him.
