Played the 14 day trial on US server - it had a very useful in-game map.
Can't seem to find it playing on Excalibur.

Are Euro servers far behind the US ones with patches or something ?

nope, we should have it, not sure what you mean by ingame map, do you mean /realmwar(or /rw) command?

should be there.


if other maps, like toa etc, you need another mod, try get one at daocmods.com

No, I can see the /rw map fine.
I mean the mini-map, it shows your region, towns etc and there is a marker on it for your current location.

I just checked and that was released in version 1.71 which is what I was playing in US.
Euro servers seem to be ver 1.70 so I guess thats why it aint there.

Yes, you are correct. The ingame map will be added in 1.71. I've been missing that here on EU myself, since I play both EU and US.
According to GOA, we will have 1.71 live on servers within a short period of time. So I'm guessing another 2-3 weeks.

I use a custom UI called True Blue (I think) do a search for it on here. Its very good and has full map support.

The new official mini map sounds good as the custom maps don't display you position on the map.

If you can't find it let me know and I will host it for you
