Importing WoW

So long as the release date goes ahead (23/11/04) I will be wanting to import a copy from the usa. I have tried sites like dvdboxoffice but they are only saying they can ship this item to the usa.

Has anyone found an american site that will send to Europe (UK), and dispatch on the day of release or soon after.?

UK sites (amazon and play) are giving a release date sometime next year round feb, so no use there.

You can only activate the copy in the region you are in normally.

Beta is working fine, so i dont see why it would be any different. How will they stop people connecting from here anyway.

They have said everyone was welcome for open beta, at release they will implement forced servers so the eu version dont loose to many pay customers.

They start hauling out the EU preorder the 26th this month.

You can only register for the USA version if you have an American billing address so start looking for one

Hmm thats stupid, what if people have friends on the usa servers.
Strange that site lets you import it then.

Do you have a url for blizzard saying noone outside usa will be able to play?

You can pay with Paypal..... so I guess you can avoid the "US billing address" part.

Which doesnt make good reading. It is possible if you have a us address of a friend that live theres or something. But I don't think many people will do this so it's prolly better to wait for euro open beta instead of us retail. :|
