Without = 6100
With = 7500

(Figures rounded to nearest 100)

Often such drivers will improve performance and compatibility with hardware, it can also fix a number of problems you may have with your computer.

I believe so, theres a new XP driver and im thinking of changing OS anyways, i posted a lot about it on yr (or someguys)need help thread.Let me recap:the problem i had was i had got 1 stick of 256ddr ram and i installed,when done i ran 3dmark 2k1, my score was 7266, when i went and got me 2nd stick of 256ddr and installed then ran 3dmark again i got a lower score than b4(summat like 6500)which did me ead in(was expecting around the 8000 mark)both sticks of ram are identical(same make,batch etc)and i am running M.E at the mo.

Oh I remember, RAM really won't boost your score any ways but in the same way it shouldn't reduce it either by that much , although running ME might because as Xavier said it has problems with 512+.

Have you checked the memory settings in the BIOS?

And make sure you have both the latest BIOS and the above Intel chipset software.

U meen like making sure the setting is on 3T for memory in bios?I read the whole mobo book and did all the stuff in bios it said, the problem is probably M.E(hopefully)its just that i *ahem* really like M.E.Well when i was running me pc with 512sdram i was getting scores under 6000, closer to 5500 really, and me m8 who has a p4 1.9 and 512 ram-bus memory(eveything else the same as me)gets over 8000.I dunno get the feeling sometimes that 3d mark aint too accurate.Cheers for yr time anyway Embattle, very grateful.

Buffy can only get about 4100.

thanks emb m8,however for some reason every one of them servers that i manage to get to work downloads up to 12% then stops dead,which is very annoying! mind you it sums up today perfectly!

Anyway the score was 4988 with p3 1000mhz and gf3 ti-200.
Considering the size of the processor I dont think thats too bad,what do you lot think?
