Im 19, have 4 grand in the bank and need to spend it

the things im going to get are as follows:-
1,000 on a Nissan 1.8 Turbo
1,000 on customization
1,000 for insurance
400 on a Pub Projector (nout like playing GT2 on the PSX on a wall
600 on some 15" Cerw-Vaga speakers

i was thinking about scrappin 1 of the above for a comp, heres what i had in mind

AMD Atholon 700(my spellings crap i know)
256mb or Ram
GeForce anniolator Pro
20 gig HDD
17" monitor

now can any1 tell me what they would do in my shoes

Its a 500 modded to 750... soon gettin some 550's with 750 cores and will have those at 850-900MHz speeds for well under 300 quid

Scrap the car customisations and get the Athlon. I'm getting one later in the year. I've just sold most of my components from my old rig. I'm not playing games at the moment, so I'm using a trusty Pentium 166 with 128MB RAM

Why not push for a 19" monitor as well? I would get the Guillimont Anihilator card, I know it's more expensive but I think it has got a higher clock than the Creative board.

Oh yeah you will need more than a £1000 to insure the car. IMHO

get an old subaru legacy 4x4 turbo m8
or even a mazda 323 4x4 turbo
or a clio 1.8 16v or r5 turbo
if you are going to drive and sport thing.
BUT
if all your gona do is drive up and down
the high street trying to pull
buy an old push bike and tell the birds you have 4 grand in the bank
this should have the birds on their knees

Quite easily really. The kind of people that drive around with their "dump valves" going pishhhhhhhhhhhhh like total lunatics, speeding and taking risks are twats, people with skoda's dont do this, twats with modified nissan sunny's do.

Its people like TUG that drive too fast, have accidents and push up insurance for decent people such as myself, who want to drive classy, expensive cars and NOT drive like wankers. (like £6,000 a year for a Z3 2.0 which was a recent quote I got).

thats just bang outta order that is. If anyone wants to make their car nice compared to crap, then thats their choice, doing what TUG said does'nt mean to say that he is gonna be dangerous. Its just like u having a nice car, that performs well as it is, on its own very well. You really are contrdicting ya self. Crap cars need to be done up to make them sort of fast, where as spoilt brats like you, who can afford very plush cars, which are fast, in the first place are the same.

Theres a difference between a person who wants to make a car look nice, and one that adds dump valves and p0mping bass and drives like a cunt. Its the teenagers who DO these things that scare insurance companies into these ridiculously high prices.
Think I like phoning insurance companies only to be told i cant drive the car of my dreams because they wont insure me even tho I can afford the car? well I dont.
